Lighthouse Christian Academy had the privilege of opening its doors August 4, 2010. We welcomed our first students after many years of prayer and three years and five months of hard labor. Although the days were long and the body exhausted, we never grew weary in well doing.
Ninety percent of the work was performed by the church, debt free, no begging, no special offerings, and no guilt trips. Believing God would reward our commitment to build by faith we have been patient, only moving when he provided and stopping when He didn’t.
Time won’t permit me to explain the many ways the Lord has blessed our faithfulness. The windows of Heaven were opened and the blessings poured out like the rain in days of Noah. The building has been insured for $460,000.00 and the content for $60,000.00. But one of the biggest miracles is that the church itself has only invested about $10, 000. 00. What a testament to the God we serve, to Him be the glory. There is something to be said about waiting on the Lord and his confirmation.
Please pray for Lighthouse Christian Academy, and the staff that we will never forget the amazing opportunity that God has entrusted to us, to teach future generations and lead them into deeper understanding and hopefully a relationship with His Son Jesus Christ.

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
LCA Mission
Our mission is to train your child in academics that are Christ-centered and simultaneously lead them into an enhanced knowledge of God and his word. Our goal is to build character in your child using honesty, loyalty, respect, manners, responsibility and hard work as building blocks. Any child that is able to comprehend responsibility will be assigned a task; such as wiping tables, sweeping, empting trash, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning, which includes restrooms, kitchen and classrooms, ect.

Booker T. Washington saidand I quote, "I not only learned that it was not a disgrace to labor, but learned to love labor, not alone for its financial value, but for labor’s own sake and the independence and self-reliance."

Our philosophy is simple, our vision, crystal clear: we're training future leaders, doctors,
managers, lawyers, pastors, fathers, mothers, missionaries, teachers and presidents. If they are to succeed, they must understandthat success only comes by the hands of individuals who are willing to work hard. Training can never begin too early. It's the lack of this kind of thinking that has left many children broken, hopeless, shipwrecked and drowning in the sea of despair.

Our academy is unique because we're neither a daycare, nor a reform school for children who have been expelled from public school. We are an academy; we teach, we train, we encourage, we challenge, we reprimand, we discipline and we love. It's your child that reaps the benefits and rewards from an academy like ours, which from day one will realize the endless possibilities and potential for the greatest that lies in each of them.

Proverbs 22:6 states,Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."This is our vision, our mission, our goal and our privilege.

Thanks for choosing Lighthouse Christian Academy and entrusting your child's education to us.

In His Service,
